Meet Dr. Scott Rensch
Creating Personal Relationships While Developing Beautiful Smiles
Dr Rensch has been practicing orthodontics for over 25 years and still looks forward to helping create beautiful smiles and great bites. He loves working with our patients and their parents, supported by an incredible team, and alongside exceptional fellow orthodontists. Together, we achieve beautiful and functional smiles – ones that you will be thrilled to show off at all your life’s “Milestones”: 1st date, graduation, job interviews, wedding, etc.
Dr Rensch’s goal is to find the most efficient, comfortable, and economical way to get each patient to the smile they desire. He will spend time talking with his patients and their family, learning what they want and what their concerns are. Then Dr Rensch will review the possible treatment options and, together, determine the right course of care. Dr Rensch feels it is essential his patients are actively engaged and invested in their treatment. He believes this keeps patients excited about the process and gets them the best result.
Dr Rensch loves the hands-on nature of what he does, and the time he has to develop a personal relationship with each patient. He states it is a joy to see the improvement in a person’s bite, aesthetics, and self-confidence! He feels he is truly blessed to work in such a special field with a phenomenal staff and improving patients’ lives every day.

Throughout the year Dr Rensch completes many hours of continuing orthodontic education. In addition to attending local, regional, and national meetings, he also participate in conferences and seminars, as well as worldwide literature reviews.

Beyond the Practice
Dr Rensch grew up in Rosemount, MN. He has lived in Ramsey for the last 21 years with his wife Kathie where they raised their two kids Zach and Sydnee.
When not in the office, Dr Rensch loves being active. Dr Rensch competes in local and national pickleball tournaments, plays soccer, takes karate classes (4th degree black belt) and golfs. He enjoys fishing with his Dad in South Dakota or Canada and loves spending time with family and friends at his cabin in Mora, MN on Knife Lake.
Giving Back
Dr Rensch is a member of the Companion Program through the Knights of Columbus at church. He volunteers to visit a “friend” at the nursing home at least once every two weeks. Dr Rensch feels showing someone love and support is a great way to help and strengthen our community.
